5-speed Conversion

Our BMW 2002 5-speed transmission conversion is based on the proven design as described in the factory BMW 'blue books' (yes, BMW recognized the benefits of an overdrive 5 speed gearbox in the 2002). We offer a complete kit or individual parts

Our design features new mounting tabs mounted further back to accommodate the longer gearbox - the tabs can be welded or bolted to the tunnel. (Others have kits with cantilevered brackets, but we're not a fan… we think they put too much stress on the original tabs, and have seen evidence of vibration and tearing metal with those set-ups.)
