Are you sitting too low? Can't see over the dash? If you have older BMW 320is Recaro seats in your 320, 2002, or other Bimmer (or older Recaro seats from (or in) any other car), you probably know what I'm referring to. The seat bottom suspension in old seats disintegrates with time, and the bottom collapses.

The solution is our seat webbing kit, custom built to fit vintage Recaro seats. The kit includes six new webbing straps (three per seat) and about 20 new 'hog-ring' clips. The straps are a little narrower than the original ones, but they work just fine.

Note: This kit will also replace the single sling-type straps common to the VW Jetta and aftermarket Recaro seats from the 1980's and 90's. If you're converting from the single sling-type suspension to our 3-strap version, you'll need to order 12 securing clips to fit the straps to your seat pans.)

Fits '82-83 E21 Recaro seat angle knob that bolts directly to the shaft. The knob has 4 large finger detents and has a bit of a cross shape. Insert cover is approximately 30mm in diameter.

No longer available from BMW.  I'm sorry but I have no solutions to this issue at this time.

This part has been no longer available from BMW for over 20 years and I have recently had an OEM piece copied and printed using 3D printing technology. Here are the details:

Cosmetically not perfect, but I am trying to keep costs down, and the cost of this piece goes way up if it is smoothed and made to look pretty. Since a control knob fits over it, the aesthetics are not very important.

The unit is constructed of ABS plastic and fits tightly to control shaft, and the control handle fits snugly to the support piece offered in this listing.

Each seat requires 1 control knob and support, so if you need 2 of them, select 2.

Fits angle knob from earliest E21 Recaro seats.

Aardvarc offers custom-made adapters to fit any vintage Recaro or other sport seat with a 16-inch wide seat pan into a 2002 with stock sliding mechanisms. Our powder-coated adapters are modeled after the OEM E21 320iS adapter brackets, fabricated from cold-rolled steel that's been bent and punched to simplify the installation. Comes with washers and nuts to secure the four 2002 sliders to the brackets.

These replacement wire clips attach the Recaro seat suspension strap to the seat pan frame - if you're rebuilding your own seat bottom and have missing clips, this is what you need (buy 12 if you're updating a single sling-type strap to our 3-strap kit).

Fits '79-81 E21 Recaro seats. Snaps on to support wheel that bolts to the adjustment shaft. Support wheel is NLA, but Aardvarc has remanufactured them. Be sure to ask!
