The LR Edition lower center cushion hinges up, making it a secret access hatch to items such as the battery or storage locker on the Land Rover Defender TM, or just a great place for a strong box or travel documents. 

The R style seat base has leg support bolsters that are the most supportive. They cradle your legs but can be more difficult to maneuver around when entering the vehicle if it is taller. 

The F model seat has side bolsters in the lower seat that is smaller to allow easier ingress and egress for taller vehicles. You will feel planted without feeling pinched.

Are you sitting too low? Can't see over the dash? If you have older BMW 320is Recaro seats in your 320, 2002, or other Bimmer (or older Recaro seats from (or in) any other car), you probably know what I'm referring to. The seat bottom suspension in old seats disintegrates with time, and the bottom collapses.

The solution is our seat webbing kit, custom built to fit vintage Recaro seats. The kit includes six new webbing straps (three per seat) and about 20 new 'hog-ring' clips. The straps are a little narrower than the original ones, but they work just fine.

Note: This kit will also replace the single sling-type straps common to the VW Jetta and aftermarket Recaro seats from the 1980's and 90's. If you're converting from the single sling-type suspension to our 3-strap version, you'll need to order 12 securing clips to fit the straps to your seat pans.)

These replacement wire clips attach the Recaro seat suspension strap to the seat pan frame - if you're rebuilding your own seat bottom and have missing clips, this is what you need (buy 12 if you're updating a single sling-type strap to our 3-strap kit).

If your 2002 has stock (non-tii) front struts, and have struggled with heat-induced brake fade, then this vented rotor kit for you. This bolt-on kit utilizes Volvo 240 Turbo 4-piston Gerling calipers, 1980-1983 E21 hubs, and 1977 320 (or 323i) German-made (Zimmerman or Balo) vented front rotors.

We recommend installing a 2002tii master cylinder if you are installing a vented brake upgrade and a rear drum kit. The tii unit pushes more fluid to the larger front calipers and rear wheel cylinders.  If you are installing a vented front kit and a rear disc kit, then we recommend an E12 528i master cylinder because it pushes more fluid to the larger calipers and is designed for rear disc brakes.  Both master cylinder kit options include 2 new upper grommets. 

You must have 14” or larger wheels to fit this kit.

If your 2002 has tii front struts, and have struggled with heat-induced brake fade, then this vented rotor kit for you. This bolt-on kit utilizes BMW E12 4-piston calipers, 1977-1979 E21 hubs, and 1977 320 (or 323i) German-made (Zimmerman or Balo) vented front rotors.

Your car must have 14” or larger wheels to fit this kit.

This 250mm rear brake upgrade kit, when used with our vented rotor front upgrades gives a very nice brake balance right out of the box. It offers a substantial increase in braking over the stock 230mm drums. Kit includes all-new OE BMW backing plates (not used like some kits offered by others), drums, wheel cylinders, shoes, springs, and all hardware. This is a simple bolt-on upgrade.

To improve rear braking on a 2002 we recommend either our rear disc conversion kit or our E21 320i 250mm drum kit. The advantage of the rear disc kit is that the brakes will not require periodic adjustments. Otherwise, either kit will work quite well when paired with our vented front brake kit.

We recommend installing an E12 master cylinder if you are installing a vented brake upgrade and rear disc kit. The E12 unit pushes more fluid to the larger front calipers and rear calipers and does not have a residual valve like the tii master cylinder. The ATE master cylinder kit includes 2 new upper grommets.

Includes good used E21 backing plates (powder-coated semi-gloss black), and new drums, cylinders, shoes, springs, and all brake hardware. This is a simple bolt-on upgrade. you will need to trim the parking brake cable tube by approximately 1 cm where it exists the body to allow for proper parking brake lever angle when activated.

We recommend installing a 2002tii master cylinder if you are installing a vented brake upgrade and rear drum kit. The Tii unit pushes more fluid to the larger front calipers and rear wheel cylinders. The ATE master cylinder kit includes 2 new upper grommets.
