Front Vented Disk Brake Kit (2002tii)
If your 2002 has tii front struts, and have struggled with heat-induced brake fade, then this vented rotor kit for you. This bolt-on kit utilizes BMW E12 4-piston calipers, 1977-1979 E21 hubs, and 1977 320 (or 323i) German-made (Zimmerman or Balo) vented front rotors.
Your car must have 14” or larger wheels to fit this kit.
Parts List
E12 528i dual-line caliper set, professionally rebuilt and fit with new hardware
An optional cross-drilled Zimmerman rotor set is available
Semi-metallic brake pads (E12 528i – basically the same as tii pads)
E21 German-made 255mm x 22mm vented rotors (usually Zimmerman or Balo)
Rebuilt 1977-1979 E21 OEM front hubs, cleaned and zinc plated (usually gold or silver), each fit with a zinc plated rotor retaining bolt and a new dust cap
New SKF bearings, races, and seals
New screw-in hardened wheel studs approximately ¼” longer than stock to allow for installation of a thin wheel spacer if necessary
